speed, eh? Sounds like fun, right Pepper?”
Story
behind the character: Linton is the strongest in the Organization.
He's a part of the Elite Under Team, working under Blake. Throughout
the story, he often suspects his coworker, Pepper, of being the
criminal thief, Ally Kat.
Charity: Ah! Linton. I hear you're in the same boat as Sydney. You
aren't going to declare me your enemy too, are you?
Linton: No. Don't mind Sydney. She's only a small helpless girl,
after all. She doesn't have any place to go. As for me, so many
people are scared of me that I just have to ask and they give me what
I want.
Charity: Oh, I see. Where are you working now?
Linton: At a flower shop.
Charity: At a- At a what?
Linton: A flower shop.
Charity: Linton, you hardly seem like the kind of person to work
at a flower shop.
Linton: No? Perhaps I should change jobs then?
Charity: No, no. If you want to work at a flower shop, go right
ahead.
Linton: Oh, good. I really like my job there. It's very quiet and
peaceful and I highly doubt that the sweet old lady who owns the shop
is a traitor or someone who's trying to deceive me. Besides, growing
flowers has always been a hobby of mine.
Charity: Well, I'm glad you're happy then. But I still can't
picture you at a flower shop.
Linton: It was something that my mother always used to teach me.
When I was just a boy, I would always go outside and throw rocks up
against the wall whenever I was angry. But then my
mother would come and take me by the hand and say,
“Oh, Linton, you mustn't. Instead, you should
let your feelings flow through the gentle growing of the plants and
flowers.” And she would
lead me over to her flower bed and teach me to plant the seeds and
how to water them and care for
them. Over time, I came to find that it really
did help me to keep calm, and I would
always help my mother in the garden. When my mother died, I planted
my own garden to keep in memory of her. Whenever I see those flowers
I always think of the wonderful things my dearest mother taught
me.... That old lady really reminds me of her. You know, the other
day she....
Charity: (to self) Well. At least he's enjoying
himself. That's all I really care about.
