Name: Sara Dillis
Favorite quote: “How dare you accuse us!”
Story behind the character: Sara Dillis is Jonathan's little
sister. She gets jealous and breaks her brother's chess board along
with her best friend, Elizabeth.
Sara: I have a complaint!
Charity: Yes?
Sara: Why am I portrayed as one of the bad guys?
Charity: But you're not-
Sara: And why am I the one who has to get all scared and wimpy and
ask Jonathan not to tell mother? Why did I have to admit that I did
it in the first place?
Charity: Well, you have to realize that you're just a little-
Sara: “Little guys can do big things too” isn't that what you
learned as a kid?
Charity: Well, sure, but what does that have to do-
Sara: Why can't I do something big in the story?
Charity: You're a minor character, I didn't really-
Sara: I don't get it, why does a minor character have to be such a
brat?
Charity: It makes the story more interesting-
Sara: But I don't wanna be a brat, I wanna be more like you! Cool
and calm and-
Charity: You were based off of me.
Sara: What?
Charity: You were based off of me. I did the same thing when I was
younger. I got mad because I lost at chess once again and so I tore
my brother's chess board in two pieces. True story.
Sara: Then why am I named after your sister?
Charity: Oh, that? Well, I just thought it was about time that
people assumed that Sarah was the brat of the family instead of me.
Why would I want people to know that I was truly a brat?
Sara: You are evil!
Charity: You realize that since you're based off of me, calling me
evil is like insulting yourself, right?
Sara: No! You... you... nice person! I'm going to stop bothering
you and leave now!
Charity: Good idea.
Ha Ha. I forgot what a little brat you were, Noelle. Thanks for the reminder! You were fortunate to have a loving, forgiving big brother.
