Story behind the character: Jack is Blake's friend and co-worker as well as a spy for Ally Kat. He continues to keep Ally Kat's secret and help her to obtain any information or tools she needs. Blake often goes to him to clear his mind. Jack is the computer genius of the Elite Under Team in the Organization.



Jack: Miss Author, you say my last name is Nickel, but nowhere in the story does it say that. Why do you mention my last name here?


Charity: Because, in this story, all of the characters have last names, regardless of whether they're mentioned or not. Because in my notes when I was planning the story, I gave everyone a last name.


Jack: Ah! Makes sense. Another question: Why can't I ever beat Blake at chess?


Charity: Well, you're a computer genius. Not a chess genius. You can be one or the other, but not both.


Jack: I can name plenty of characters that are good at both.


Charity: Ah, but can you name a supporting character who can do that?


Jack: Yes.


Charity: Oh. Well. How embarrassing. But, I'm sorry. It's too late to change the story. Besides, all three times that you play chess, Blake has to beat you or else it wouldn't be as funny. That was another reason.


Jack: So, for the sake of the laughter of the readers, you made it so that I always lose?.... Okay, I'm cool with that.


Charity: Good. Besides, you have plenty of other qualities. Like your inventions. That remote that turns off the security cameras is pretty cool.


Jack: Actually, it doesn't turn them off. It disrupts the wavelengths of the-


Charity: Oh, look at the time! Sorry to rush you out, but the readers are waiting, bye bye!
