Woman Dressed in Green

Name: Unknown. We'll call her DIG (Dressed In Green).
Book: The End of Chess
Favorite quote: Then, suddenly, as if the queen were a toothpick, it shattered, scattering all over the street.
Story behind the character: The woman dressed in green is the one who is always trying to destroy Jonathan's pieces and chess in general. She is the first true bad guy to come on Charity's Chats, so we'll see if we survive....

Charity: So, DIG....

DIG: That has to be the worst possible abbreviation imaginable....

Charity: Yes, well...

DIG: And how come I don't have my own name? I would just like to know. Most evil villains have cool names!

Charity: But you're not an evil villain. You're just a psycho who wants to destroy chess.... And there's nothing wrong with giving yourself a name, you know.

DIG: I don't like you, you're too reasonable. What happened to the nine year old girl who wrote me, hmm?

Charity: She grew up. I'm sorry, but that's what happens in real life.

DIG: Nonsense! I demand to speak with the true author of the end of chess!

Charity: I am the true author, now would you please sit down, and stop acting so childish?

DIG: I can't help it, I was written by a child.

Charity: Yeah, but she- I mean, I didn't write you to act like a child. In the story you were always very cool and calm.

DIG: So what?

Charity: So you're out of character, that's what. Anyway, I wanted to ask you something.

DIG: Yeah, what?

Charity: Why did you even want to destroy Jonathan's pieces?

DIG: Bahahahahahaaa!!! Did you forget what your original plot for the story was? Originally you were going to have Jonathan's enemy, Andrew be the mastermind behind all this. He was the one who hired us to destroy chess. But since you wrote the story over such a long amount of time, you forgot about it and made up the dumb plot that we wanted to destroy chess.

Charity: Ah! You're right! That was my original plan! I knew I had one, but I couldn't remember it! Wait, but Andrew never said anything when I spoke with him....

DIG: Well, of course not. You think he was going to say something about it when you didn't even remember yourself? Yes, all along, it was Andrew who was the mastermind behind it and even the author didn't know. Such a tempting fate! Of course Andrew didn't want to say it was him all along.

Charity: I do believe that my evil characters are... well... evil!

DIG: Now, with all due respect, I shall be leaving.
